What was the inspiration for Their Discovery? I’ve always had a problem with how every romance with a true HEA ends in a wedding, as exchanging vows and having kids means you’ll truly be happy forever. As someone who’s been married for ten years and has faced our share of challenges, I know that marriage is work. Marriage doesn’t always work out. Sometimes you’re at the brink of it and you need to find a way back from that ledge. I wanted to write a story with a couple who had history. Who weren’t reunited after years apart and finding each other again. I wanted to write a story with all the reality of being in marriage, all the frustrations and pitfalls and grit that can come with it—the impatient moments we never mean to have, the clothes never put away—and put it on the page. That’s where Brady and Sam are when the story starts. People get lost in marriages sometimes, they forget who the other person is, why they fell in love in the first place, and I wanted to write a book about a married couple finding each other again.
Do you write listening to music? If so, what music inspired or accompanied this current book? I always have a playlist for every book. A lot of the time they help me get into the mood I need to be in to write the scenes. “Just Give Me A Reason” by Pink and Nate Russ is a prevalent emotion for the beginning of the book, as is Darius Rucker’s “Miss You.” “Castle” by Halsey and “Natural” by Imagine Dragons are good ones for Sam as she gets into her new job. Some songs for the sexier scenes are “I Feel Like I’m Drowning” by Two Feet, “Play with Fire” by Sam Tinnesz and “Deliver Me” by Sarah Brightman. “Burning House” by Cam was one I heard a long time ago and new it was essential for right after the black moment. “From Now On” by Zac Brown Band helped me write the resolution.
If Their Discovery was to be made into a movie, who are the celebrities that would star in it? Oh I’ve already got the whole cast created! Sam would be played by Sarah Rafferty, a.k.a. Donna from Suits. Brady would be Chris Pine, but with Chris Pratt’s hair. Hanna would be hard to cast but Leila Arcieri would do the job well. The rest of the Legally Bound crew has already been cast: Jack is Joel Gretsch and Lilly is Arielle Kebbel. Patrick is Patrick Dempsey and Cassie is Cameron Diaz, but when she’s a brunette. Nick is Gabriel Macht and Gabe is James Marsden.
What was the highlight of writing Their Discovery? The most fun scene to write was when Sam goes to a dungeon. First off was her excitement in finally getting to be in an environment like that. She’s spent years just sitting at home, taking care of her kids and mother, and now she’s out and in her element, looking like a rock star in a corset. But it was also art imitating life for me. Almost everything I put down in that scene is based on a real-life experience for me. #WriteWhatYouKnow
Are you on social media and can your readers interact with you? I am on every platform, although I think I’m on Instagram the most. That’s where readers can see my obsession with snapchat filters, food I make, and way too many pictures of my cat. It’s also where I put most of my teasers.

About the book:
Exploring new territory could save their marriage…or push it over the edge.
Legally Bound, Book 3
Brady Archer’s marriage is falling apart. He’s tried being the goofy guy who stole Sam’s heart, but it’s not working, and his inability to please her cuts him deeper than she knows.
Sam still loves her husband, but it’s hard to find him sexy when he acts more like her third kid than her husband. When she lands a new job at a law firm, Brady needs to pick up the slack. Giving him orders should feel tedious, but instead it unexpectedly reignites their missing spark.
While Brady glimpses the woman he fell for, he also unveils a side of himself that shakes him to the core. Turns out there’s no solid emotional footing between his duty at work to call the shots, and his need to call his wife Mistress.
But their attempt to fix things, including inviting Sam’s sexy female coworker into their bed, only widens the cracks in their relationship. Worse, when Sam discovers a discrepancy in the firm’s paperwork, she realizes she may have trusted the wrong person…and the fallout could cost her and Brady everything.
Warning: Contains a six-foot-five, ex-football player submissive and a ballsy, badass redhead who is learning to unleash her inner Domme. Scenes depicting humiliation, pegging, and threesomes could disturb, or stimulate a thirst for adventure.
Rebecca Grace Allen says: Marriage is hard, and sometimes it looks like it’s not going to work out, but everyone can still get their happily ever after.
